About Kickstart
Kickstart is a children's club for 6 to 11 year olds.
It is held at the Preston Road Community Centre in Abingdon on Thursday's from 6-7.30pm (during term-time).
The evening consists of a mixture of games, singing, Bible-based stories and other activities.
It costs 30p to come to Kickstart, and the children can pay another 20p for sweets at the end of the evening.
The children collect points (stamps on their hand) throughout the term by doing well at games, answering questions etc. and are then given a prize at the end of term based on the number of points they have gained.
Autumn 2008
Term starts again on the 11th September 2008, at 6pm, and goes through to the 23rd October (inclusive).
We will be doing the story of Hudson Taylor, a missionary to China in the 1800s who gave up everything to tell others about God. We'll see many of the exciting adventures that resulted.
Activities this term will include skittles, giant games, craft, pictionary, parachute games and relay races.
